A classy and very feminine antique Victorian era pair of solid gold earrings! Made of solid 14 kt gold these earrings date back to mid-late 19th century and weight 4.3 grams.
The earrings are preserved in a superb condition. They are set with luminous rose cut diamonds. Each earring carries 4 diamonds - 0.25ct, 0.2ct, 0.15ct and 0.07ct. The total weight per pair is circa 1.35 CT.
The diamonds sit in high belcher nests and have a foiled back. Foiling precious stones was a widely used technique in 17-19th centuries. The foil plays a role of a mirror behinf the stone and was often used to add even more shine and depth to the precious stones.
