STATEMENT Art Deco Style Ethiopian Opal Cabochon Ring
A beautiful, heavy and extremely rare Art Deco diamond ring set with an authentic Ethiopian fire opal, rubies and 33 diamonds 1.04 CT worth of 1.65 CT.
This ring stunning early 20th century comes from a private collection in Italy and is preserved in an outstanding condition. It is now size US 7.75 and can be easily resized. The ring has a heavy crown made of solid 14ct white gold and hallmarked accordingly.
The milky opal has a majestic shine reflecting shades of orange, green, yellow and red. It has a "cabochon" cut and measures 0.5 x 0.42 inch (4.8 CT). The opal is surrounded by a beautiful halo ofsugarloaf cabochon rubies with a total weight of circa 2.4 CT.
There are 33 diamonds forming the border setting. The quality is VS-SI, top wesselton. Overall weight 1.65 CT.
This is a very rare and very well preserved ring. It will make a great gift for vintage jewelry lovers and is a beautiful alternative engagement ring candidate!
