Georgian Revival Foiled Diamond Ring
A lovely and very gentle foiled diamond ring. This diamond ring is 18th century Georgian era revival piece crafted in solid 14k yellow gold.
This beautiful ring is made in the early-20th century and is so-called Georgian revival style. It repeats the designs on 18th century rings, where the floral diamond patterns were set on silver to enhance precious stones shine. The ring crown is crafted in silver and the diamonds sit in the foiled nests, which give them an extra depth and sparkle. This is a technology which was widely used in antique jewelry of Georgian and Victorian eras.
