Boasting a sparkling crown adorned with the foiled diamonds, this ring has a very classy and lady-like feel. The diamonds are set on white foil and has a mesmerizing bright sparkle. They look simply amazing in both day and evening light. The crown is formed in daisy shape and is elevated above the finger by 0.7 cm.
Foiled stones were extremely popular in the 17 - 19th century jewelry. The foil, often tinted, was placed behind the stone to add an extra shine, depth and sometimes color to the precious stones.
This ring is a genuine early 19th century - Victorian era - gem. It is made of solid 8k rose gold and is preserved in a superb condition!
