An amazingly preserved mid-late 19th century ring hand-crafted in 14k gold. This stuning Art Nouveau ring dates to the years 1800's and is a conversion piece.
Boasting a large coverage floral crown, this ring looks very graceful when worn. The central piece is reset on a vintage 14k shank, as the original construction was severely damaged.
The crown carries 18 natural diamonds of circa total 0.4 CT. The largest diamond is an so-called Old Mine Cut diamond of circa 0.2 CT. Thus the total diamond weight of this ring is about 0.6 CT.
The Old Mine Cut (so-called 'black dot') - the old miners are highly collectible nowadays by antique jewelry enthusiasts and are getting scarce on the market.
With its elongated crown and large coverage, the ring feels amazing when worn and will make an amazing alternative promise or enagement ring.
