An absolutely stunning antique French emerald and diamond ring!
This classy ring dates back to the late 1800's and is set with a green natural emerald. The stone has a rectangle cut and is surrounded by 14 foiled rose-cut diamonds. Foiling diamonds is an old technique of stone setting where the foil was placed behind the stone to enhance its shine and depth. It was actively used in jewelry production from the mid 17th to the 19th century.
