An antique HEAD-TURNING bracelet from the Victorian era, made in Scotland in 1856 and handcrafted from sterling silver!

This bracelet is a rare and highly collectible gem! Set with semi-translucent green and orange agate, this bracelet is made by a renown Irish manufacturer - George Unite.

The bracelet has a very decorative buckle accented with lace-like ornaments on the front. This unique piece of jewelry boasts lovely Irish agates in a double-arched rectangular cut, each measuring 15.55 mm x 29.6 mm x 4.6 mm.

On the reverse of the belt buckle there is a stamp: "REGd DEC 15th", with the Year of manufacture 1856, as well as the manufacturer number 3916 and signed with the master's mark GU (George Unite). It was also additionally checked for authenticity with acid and is guaranteed sterling silver.

Due to the buckle, the size of the bracelet can be adjusted and has a maximum length of about 24.5 cm, on the back there are soldered points on 2 chain links (see pictures), which are not visible on the front and thus when wearing otherwise the bracelet is in wonderful historical condition and can be worn immediately (see pictures).

This is a beautiful piece for a strong lady with lots of character. A rare find and collectors item - it will make an amazing special occasion gift.
